Pic related was called "ATARI" though it's just NES clone, with compatibility for NES's 60 pin cartridges.
It comes with bootleg cartridge that had 10000 games, that were super mario clone, battle city, olympics, Duck hunt.
The gun had tendency to ruin your CRT.
That's how I did 8-bit gaming.

How would a light gun break your tv? Sounds like bs.

>> No.6530367

Old fashion light guns use the same type of LED as a universal remote. Universal remotes can send a wide spectrum signal which can rapidly power on, off, and on the device before it has a chance to discharge during the initial power down. If the set is old, this can immediately fry it.

If I wanted to buy a clone system, I will buy a high end one. These things are a waste of money.

Original early 90s Family Game. The best. Basically exactly like the original Famicom.

I've fried several CRTs with universal remotes. I thought it was my home wiring at first, but the electrician I called out said that the power was fine. He asked what kind of remote I was using, and when I showed it to him, he explained that universal remotes can send a wide spectrum signal which can rapidly power on, off, and on the device before it has a chance to discharge during the initial power down. If the set is old, this can immediately fry it.
