Hey guys, remember this gem? I used to play it long ago, and now I found that there are some mods but they have been deleted, anyone has the updated kaladesh version? I want to revisit it and check the updated version.

Never even heard of this game until a few years ago. I got addicted to it for a few weeks straight while procrastinating college work.
Why aren't there more Magic games like this with a focus on collecting and RPG aspects? Yugioh has a ton in comparison. Shit, even Pokemon TCG has 2 GBC games.

The final deck I used had two Time Walks and Timetwisters since I got some lucky breaks, but it was pretty much the same deck. Lightning Bolts and Counterspells keep the opponent locked down until it hits the infinite life-gain and additional turn loop, then keep nailing the opponent with Lightning and Disintegrate until they are dead since they can't do anything. I would never play this against a human, it's anti-fun.

Probably because Wizards really wanted to bank on people buying packs of cards and not having an alternative. The online and mobile versions of MTG is all microtransaction based so they'll always have that as a bonus revenue stream.
It's a damn shame, really. Between the reserve list, cucked racist ban list, and all the other inflated prices of shit I'm really losing the will to play at all except casually with my wife. What's nuts is that this game, way back in the Windows 95 Pentium MMX era, could link to your DCI account and track your win/loss record. If only that were still true and we could have a historic format preserved in time to play forever as well as officially supported. Oh well.
