You'll have to keep a resource text file or something on the translation. The dialog is sparse and brief but I can imagine a scenario where you'll play for several hours before realizing understanding a single sentence item description could've saved alot of effort.

The only thing truly bad about the King's Field games is that the entire time you play them you just wish you could use keyboard and mouse instead of janky pre-analog PS1 controls. Other than that they're good atmospheric dungeon crawlers.
