What are your favorites?
My favorites are Mario Bros, Clu Clu Land, Balloon Fight, and Popeye.
Famicom boxes are pretty nice, a lot better than what we got imo
Why is there no scan for the Robot Gyro box anywhere on the internet

Spartan X/Kung Fu is still a blast to play to this day and I'm sad the series just never really took off.

It sold pretty well too IIRC. I guess they didn't see a way to bring the series forward with the advancement of beat em ups without changing too much of the core things that made it what it is

It got a unique GameBoy remake in Japan and Spartan-X2 on the Famicom, plus it's spiritual successor Vigilante, not bad for something that was intended as a licensed tie-in to a Jackie Chan movie.

For a whole year the Famicom only had ports, licensed games, sports and table game shovelware, gun gimmick games, and 0 third party support. It'd be pretty funny if that happened with a modern system, heh.

oh yeah
probably the first wholly original game for famicom was Nuts & Milk
it's considered a port from MSX but it's really an entirely different game
then Devil World is the first wholly original FC game from Nintendo themselves
both are pretty good games 2bh
