Is there an archive of old video game magazines anywhere on the net? It'd suck if all of these things were lost to time in some publisher's vault somewhere.

Not centralized, no. And certainly not exhaustive or impartial- some are much more extensively preserved than others, irrespective of final issue count.

This site started hosting quite a few mags since the last time I went on it. Various countries, focused on Sega games.

There are archives for most/all of those, too, anon, here https://archive.org/details/NintendoPower1988-2004 and other places. I somehow lost my first two issues, from March and April 2002, and also both my player's guide for Melee never arrived and my Smaaashing! Melee remix CD that came with one of the issues was in pieces when it came in the mail, so I'm very thankful, myself, for these digital databases.

I'd say from around the time they started the rolecall at the beginning of the mag until they switched over to Ultra Game Players they were probably the best and most fun gaming magazine around. I still remember their Cleansing newsletter LARP they had going on with that alien gorilla Gazuga.

Some anon mentioned having found an archive to all the Hobby Consolas, but when I asked him for the link, he never replied.
I could only find some of them, but not all. Anyone has all of them? At least from the ones from the first years, 1992, 93, 94, 95... don't really care much about the post-1999 stuff.

There's a giant archive rulando por ahí that literally has todas las hobbys. The guy doing the scanning wanted more and more control about people accesing his project y se le piro mazo, imposing rules del tipo que si you didn't gave him revis que no tuviera then ni de blas olías the mags. So some insider simply said que te jodan tronco and released his trabajo de toda una vida.
