Why call them cartridges? Do we really need to bring up the notion of anti social nerdy school shooter type by calling it a cartridge? Its a cassette plain and simple.

a casette holds a magnetic tape with limited info for side,casette have a limited size on the magnetic tape.
a cartridge is a pcb with chipsets encased on plastic used even today.
