Can we get a thread for console games with unique controllers? Pic related.

thank god this is a retro board so no one will come up with these hideous gamecube donkey kong bongas that are worth like 1 dollar and no one ever used them

Pic is sort of related to the thread. It's the microphone you use to communicate with Seaman on the Dreamcast. When I was in early school I thought I could leave the game running all day during the tadpole stage without knowing the heat of the tank slowly drops while the game is running. When I got home all of the tadpole babies were dead and I cried. lol.

This one always seemed kind of silly to me. It looks like a kindergarten toy. I imagine it plays far different though.

Are these really unique if there's one for like every console? Speaking of controllers on every console, the Dreamcast fishing rod is deceptively not like this thanks to its somewhat broad support in a number of games thanks to its motion controls. Letting you use it in virtua tennis and soul calibur as a motion controller of all things is what made it just a little extra special.

That's not a cup holder. It's for a pocket watch.

Pros use the 360 controller now, I still find it more fun with the original control method.

Pistol-grip Super Street Fighter II Turbo controller for 3DO. You had to send away in the mail for it. The build quality was so bad, the plastic housing would cut your fingers.

I'll say it's definitely not as bad as it looks to use. I actually like its aesthetic too. It's from a time where controllers didn't have a gold standard yet so it's pretty cool to see all the different ideas that weren't just clones of the 2600 joystick. Love the coleco vision phone-controller.

I wanted it.

That looked pretty extra at the time, but it's fewer inputs than some of the PC games I play today. Not just options, but things I absolutely need to press often.
