Just another lame attempt by Sega throwing shade at Nintendo, which was their whole pathetic marketing strategy in the early to mid 90s.

What was working was the hard work over at Sega of Japan making good systems and good games, not some rednecks in america thinking being insecure and attacking the competition is cool.

Great ad for a console add on that was a mixed bag at best. What were they thinking when they invested so much in shitty FMV games?

The 2000s and 2010s were pretty bad though, but if only we knew what was coming for us starting the 20s...

And then in the 2000s Sega stopped making consoles and started making games for other companies, INCLUDING Nintendo. So tell me, who won?.

And it's irrelevant because Sega of America's marketing was never important outside of jokes.
Sega went down because Sony pushed them out of the market. Nintendo survived because of handhelds and because Leave Luck to Heaven really seems to work for them.

It fascinates me how 9/11 has changed so much since it happened. But as a /his/tard, I have to wait another 5-6 years before I can officially talk about it.

I hated the 90s while I was living in them. Everything sucked except the video games. The 2000s were great, plus you could more easily play all the 90s games, since they were cheaper and readily available on the internet as well.

>> No.6305406

The games were so unimpressive that they couldn't show more than 0.2 seconds of gameplay at at time.

It's not 9/11. The generation that widely used psychedelics died off.

To be fair, 21st century people get triggered by pretty much the entire 20th century, and possibly the entire human history.
On one hand, I can understand it, human history is nothing but cringe. On the other hand, the things they criticize about humanity aren't the actual cringe things.

The Sega CD was still a $300 console that only had the potential to be bought by their existing install base even if developers had actually released games that took advantage of it's potential. That's a questionable decision even if you have the library to support it, and they didn't manage to secure the software which transformed it into an outright terrible decision.
