I agree.
They came out a bit late into the N64's life, but still managed to get good impressions.
Historical revisionism made zoomers believe people hated them, though.

64 is good, lod is shit though; ruins the levels from 64 and forces you to play as a furry in order to unlock Chadhardt, worse intro, no voice acting, no costumes, etc.
The "lod is 64 improved in every way and you should only play that version" meme needs to die already.

Valid point. All characters should have been available form the start.

There was only one scene in the original with voice acting - which was weirdly missing later in the game. If anything it's more consistent.
