Tomb Raider 1 is well worth it.

Awesome platformer take on Pac Man
>Colony Wars series
Great space sim series ALA Wing Commander with branching missions
>Armored Core, Project Phantasma, and Master of Arena
Mecha series. Lots of robot customization, missions, and funnily enough, financial management. Tons of replay value
>Einhander
Atmosphere Shmup by Square were you can snag weapons from enemies by damaging them enough.
>Medievil
A slightly clunky but still well worth playing classic action adventure game with a halloween theme.

I'd argue that it is good though. I didn't even play it as a kid, I first played it 2 or 3 years ago. It plays more like a 3D action platformer than something like Zelda though still with significant puzzle elements. The way the sword swings feel kind of remind me of Actraiser.

well I make a ""collection"" recently, to play all the good games I didn't played as a kid
I used Verbatim Crystal CD-Rs with extra protection layer, they are great.
Burned them at lower speed and most worked worked fine. Some of them are having hard time when loaded on boot but they end running with tricks.
Soul Reaver loads fine but there seems to be a bad sector or something weird on the rom to disc conversion. It plays well on the ePSXe emulator but in my moded console it stops working just by the next scene by the end of the jumping lesson on the tutorial.
Also burned it twice with different roms and settings with no results.
