as far as i've seen. it was the only issue i had with mine. it just didn't seem very precise. you'd be trying to go right, and get up or down inputs when you didn't want to. i probably just got used to it, but it's solid. also nice that its wireless

Email them and tell them to send you the redone controller, it fixes a lot of those issues. The shoulder buttons actually work and the face buttons actually feel like you're pressing something.

Most models have a sucky D-pad that's the problem and you'll have to open it up and stick some paper on the PCB. If you want a controller that's perfect right out of the box i can't recommend 8bitdo but if you're willing to work and fix it, which is honestly not complicated just annoying, then go for one of them because they're stylish.
If you buy that SN30 Pro model the D-pad WILL suck when you take it out of the box.
