"Mega Hit Series" was just something they slapped on Genesis games packaging later in the consoles lifespan

It was the same thing as all those green label PS1 games. It had nothing to do with Bomberman itself.

It is a good game, but still an inferior version of Bomberman '94. But I do like of of the Mega Drive versions of the songs in the game. Also, 3 buttons to work with instead of 2.
But, also the not-as-pretty-to-look-at color palette and worse sound effects make it a bit worse compared to its PC-Engine counterpart.
