I'm going to make this easy, every handheld and console for Microsoft, NintendoExcept the virtual boy, Sega and Sony. Also have a very nice computer and Atari 2600.
Of the above, I have all the "best" models of what I said in terms of features, except for the SCHP 1001 PS1, CECHA01 PS3, and a Slim 360, the first two I'm currently looking for, last one I'm sure I'll come across eventually, but no big rush as I don't use the built in wireless and replaced the fan to keep my console cooler.

Besides that I also want an Atari Jaguar, Atari Lynx, Neo Geo, Neo Geo Portable Color, Turbo Grafx, Intellivision, Colecovision, Magnovox Odyssey, and maybe a 3DO.

>> No.624494

Almost everything but the 3DS and the Vita. The major systems I'm missing are the INTV and I suppose the Lynx and Jaguar.

I have a magically dead Virtual Boy that stopped working when I put it away on my shelf, a Neo Geo for which I have no games, one WORKING 3DO, and the Game.Com as standouts in my stupid shrine to a ruined childhood.

original gameboy got all fucked up/melted/cracked and thrown away since my family moved some of my old shit when I wasn't living there and my mom felt bad so she replaced it with the GBA SP which got me back into handheld gaming when I was about 22. Just got a new job then where I rode the train a lot too which gave me plenty of time to play my old gameboy games on it.

OP, real quick. That image made my day. Lower left you have an old arcade style portable. I have the Donkey Kong one. For those not familiar, it runs on FOUR D CELL BATTERIES. It's heavy, has limited sound, and the screen is basically a tiger handheld device with a color sticker hastily glued on.

When I was three my mother brought me a catalog and asked if I thought my dad would prefer the Donkey Kong game or the Popeye game. Not knowing what DK was and loving Popeye's cartoons, I said he'd like Popeye better.

The store was out of Popeye, so we ended up getting the Donkey Kong one. I remember we took it to him and he showed me how to use it and it was fun to play with and me and my dad would eventually work out how it played, and while I was there with him visiting he would let me play it.

I didn't understand at the time that he was in a hospital, and that he has a spinal injury that threatened to paralyze him for life. My mom said we should get him the game because she wanted him to have something fun to do while he was there alone both at night and while she worked.

My dad did eventually get to walk again, but I kept the game machine. I still have it in fact, it's on a bookshelf right next to me, and it still works whenever you turn it on - just like the day it was bought.

Even though he's not around anymore I still have this, my very first video game. And even though we didn't play games together while I grew up, he was always happy to encourage them as my hobby. So that thing means a lot to me and you just reminded me of it.

Thanks OP.

Coleco tabletop arcade games. I had Donkey Kong as a kid. Loved the SHIT out of it, myself. They're not prohibitively expensive on goddamn eBay... Also the sound may be an easy fix. It's possible that a lead to the buzzer broke loose, and could be reattached, or the buzzer could be replaced. I think there are a few sites that have info on the internals of these games, which could be used for analysis...
