Vinyl is shit. It was never meant to be good, only cheap. Enthusiasts had reel-to-reel.

This should clear up at least the two most common misconceptions you may have about digital audio:

Good speakers do make vintage games sound much better. I was playing with some cheap bookshelf speakers until the noise here got to be too much for me to deal with so now my default speakers are ER2XR ear dildos with long stem small tips and does anyone know where I can order more I have only a few pairs left

I remember being obsessed with vinyl and vintage stereo equipment a few years back. I stop collecting records once I filled a milk crate and sold my receiver and speakers when I moved out of my apartment. Now I just use Spotify instead of having to flip records or drop the needle on a specific track I want to hear. Audiophiles are also huge faggots.

I care alot about audio quality, whether its video games, music or movies, but I have never felt any desire to collect vinyl. For causal music listening, these days streaming music, or if I really want to go the extra mile, grabbing high quality flac files online, is so much easier. The whole vinyl arguement aside, having nice audio equipment can really add to the experience of whatever you're listening to. I suppose with older retro games, you don't have to go overboard, there is a point of diminishing returns, but just having something in your setup that's an upgrade from the built in speakers in your tv is going to make a difference.
