Without emulators this board would not even exist. 90% of the people that grew up with these consoles sold or got rid of their original hardware decades ago.
I would bet money even most of the collectors on this board aren't even using their own original consoles but re-purchased machines.

Why the emulator hate? Emulation spreads the retro games to new players, especially the rare games. Keeps them from being lost to time.
