You're definitely doing it right in the $30-$50 range although I hope you have some component cables on the way. I have that little Wega and I know for a fact it has component inputs on the back.

Yes, I am using component. I just still have the composite plugged into the front

Yeah I figured you just had some other device temporarily plugged in. Laserdisc or NES in a perfect world but more likely a VCR or something

A curved screen CRT and a pi could deliver much more retro joy for less money.

It does not.

Did something change? The Wii does PS1, Saturn, Dreamcast, and Neo Geo with high compatibility and low load times like the pi does now? This would be news to me, could you provide a source or are you a faggot?

>> No.6124303

>>6123982
I did actually get a Wii but I only use it for Nintendo stuff.
NES, SNES and N64.
Got a ps1 and chipped it the started burning cd's.
And lastly I got a Megadrive, I still need to get an Everdrive for it before my collection is complete.
Got a ps2 as well but that's still not retro for some reason so I'll stop there.
They all sit in a nice cabinet behind closed doors with a get on top.
Nice and compact.

>> No.6124428

I have that tv anon. Its nice. Only downside is it doesnt have a jungle chip so no easy way to rgb mod it if your in to that sort of thing. Other than that, its a solid crt with component inputs.

I need to buy a remote for it so I can calibrate it but honestly it looks great as is.
