I have a Famicom Mini and an SNES classic, I hacked them both. A 1000ish games pack and some GB/GBC games for the FC, then some more SNES games that weren't included stock, some Genesis games, and some GBA games for the SNES. I'd like to get one of these to either use as intended as an HDMI selector or gut and put a couple flash drives inside, as I'd like to add more games like Sega CD games, but the storage space on both of them is already near full. They only have about 300MB to play with factory and that's not enough for the included SNES games and even just one Sega CD game.

They do sell 6 button controllers separately, and you can get the 3 buttons lightly used online.

I want an NES Classic because it's the only one I don't have. I own the SNES Classic, the SG Mini and the PS1 Classic. I managed to hack the SNES Classic and the PS1 Classic. I am still having trouble hacking the SG Mini. I don't care for the C64 Mini or TG16 Mini, but I definitely want a PC Engine Mini.

Bought a super famicom classic here in Japan and I'm super happy with it, specially with hackchi and shit. Mapping the controls for n64 on the snes controllers is kind of a pain though

The Mini is hackable and I use the 3 button controller for emulators(mainly for Genesis & MAME), it's incredible! I'd say it's definitely worth it.

Yes. Don't buy a chink knockoff, I've heard of those not working with the mini consoles. The regular classic controller (not pro) without the handles will also work, but it's objectively inferior to the classic controller pro if you don't have either and are going to go buy something.

They're trash. If you want to display it on a shelf among your questionable funko pop collection, by all means. If you actually want to play the games, there are far better options.

You may have to for N64 games, but for SNES it is plug and play and listed on Nintendo's website as a compatible controller. The Home button even works as expected so you don't have to get up and push the reset button on the console.
>>6119562
I found the sticks too close to each other on the not-pro, my thumbs would hit each other. They're spaced further apart on the Pro, and I also prefer the layout of the triggers being vertically stacked rather than horizontal.

My brother got me a snes classic a few years ago. He's sort of a normalfag and unaware of the options for playing old games these days, but I was very appreciative of it. I never did open it, so I think I'll keep it wrapped and give it to my grand kids one day. Maybe it will be worth something by then for its novelty.

Why buy a MiSTer when I have a beefy PC I can emulate out of? Besides, the MiSTer isn't based on a retro game console model, so who gives a fuck? I rather have an NES, SNES, Genesis and PS1 mini than a MiSTer.

because MiSTer uses WAY LESS electricity and actually behaves like the real deal. But that's obviously nothing a pleb like you - who cares about collecting muh plastic toys - concerns himself with.

That's why I use them one at a time. Plus I don't have all of them plugged into my TV at once anyways since I gotta make room for my PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. These "plastic toys" will go up in value in about 20 years, just like the games I own that are hard to find, sucker.
