After more than 15 years of not playing nes I find the original rectangle controller digging in my sking under the first 10 minutes of play

The only exception was the NES Advantage, where it made sense as it was supposed to be like an arcade setup.

Aside from how tiny the GC dpad is and high the dpad is raised, that looks pretty nice. Thinking about it, I'm amazed that no one has created 3Dprinted parts to insert into the original ring, that'd allow a NES/SNES dpad to be used.

Also that there's no 3Dprinted top shells to replace TG16 & SMS with, that allow the use of Nintendo's dpad with their official controllers. Seems like there'd be some money to make from those wanting a better dpad and cannot find or afford one of Hori's NES based clone controllers.
