I remember this game! Some of those trailers were on magazine cover discs at the time.
Was fun to play through, even tho it ran like dogshit on my machine.
Friends played Resident Evil 3 on Playstation and I played Nocturne on PC. There was always bitching about which one was better. I still prefer Nocturne.
Also, ain't this game some spiritual predecessor to Bloodrayne?

BloodRayne was originally going to be Nocturne 2, but there were bullshit ownership issues with the IP by that point in time, so they built a new game with similar, but different characters and concepts.
