Honestly I wouldn't recommend it in this day and age. In like 1985 or whatever it was kinda fun but I mostly played it for the creepiness and was never a game I booted up regularly. I spent a lot more time with Rogue which was also much scarier, but there's no real specific monster I was scared of from it. Fucking everything kills you in that game.

I would say more cautious, but less fearful. The one thing in the game that really did freak me out every time was a scroll that when you read it you hear maniacal laughter laughter in the distance. I had no idea what it did but I usually died soon after so I thought it was some kind of curse. It turned out years later when I was able to look stuff up that it's actually a pretty useful item.

>> No.6093556

>>6093417
Honestly I don't blame you at all. It sounds stupid but the thing that scares me most is when I kinda think I'm safe but then after doing something, something IMMEDIATELY happens. Like that mannuquin in Silent Hill 3 that's just chilling when you walk up to it, and it increases your anxiety cause it zooms in on it. But nothing happens. Then it loses its head and screams when you leave the room. I bout near shit my pants.

I never played 3, but I remember a bit in the first game where you're in the school I think and a locker is banging which gets louder and faster the closer you get then suddenly stops and when you open it's all just bloody. I don't even think anything attacks you but it was creepy as fuck.

Shadow Temple had Zelda's Sheikah guard Impa as its Sage.
The Sheikah are a secret society like the Iluminati who are into all sorts of fucked up evil shit behind the scenes used to try to guide events towards whatever long term conspiratorial agenda they've been working for. It's implied with the Shadow Temple that what you're seeing are some of the victims of their Josef Mengele style war crime torture experiments.
Also Bongo Bongo is the ghost of some guy who had his hands and head cut off.

King Ghidorah in the Godzilla original gameboy game. The game was a puzzle game where you need to break all the rocks on screen, sometimes punching away enemies.
There was a time limit but it wasn't displayed. You just knew you were taking too long when King Ghidorah's sprite flew from off screen and chased you. You couldn't kill him or even run.
