Best adventure game ever. As few weak puzzles near the end but otherwise almost perfect. Funnier than the Monkey Island series, top-tier puzzle design, great art, great music, and great voice acting. Just play the intro sequence up until you gain control of Hoagie (about 10 minutes) and you'll see. That quality of writing continues throughout the whole game. It's a direct sequel, but loosely connected enough that you don't need to play Maniac Mansion first, although there are some funny references for those who did.

Yeah, it's definitely worth playing. There's one puzzle you might get stuck on if you're not familiar with old Pepe le Pew cartoons.
And I wish someone would have told me when I was a kid that at one point you need to close a door and look behind it to get a set of keys. I was stuck on that for a while and only figured it out after clicking on everything endlessly.

I literally died in this game today at the very end. I made it into the meteor room and didn't put the anti-radiation suit on and it killed me. Luckily I saved the game right before entering the "secret lab" and I finally beat this game for the first time. Feels good man.
