Anyone know what these are? A magazine suppliment? A fanzine? A company newsletter?

It appears to be a fan club magazine for the game developer Telenet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7uuUzAK48M

Seems there were 29.
>Nihon Telenet was a game developer/publisher back in the 80s and 90s, and were most well known for games like Valis and Gaiares. In the early 90s (and possibly the late 80s) they had a fan club and sent a small magazine to members every other month. These magazines were called Users Gallery. They contained notes from developers, info about games in development, fan art and other fun tidbits. There weren't a whole lot of copies to begin with since they only went out to fan club members, and trying to find them on auction sites now is a mostly futile task. Miraculously, I found a set of last 12 issues

Oh shit, it's the guy who made the vid is the one scanning! Nuts.

Someone should tell him that to make them previewable you need to upload it as a pdf or a cbz file. A cbz is a re-named .zip file.

Usually archive.org gives you different viewing options for scans. Are you sure there’s no PDF option?

>> No.6061568

he uplaoded them as a series of single files or as one big .zip file. Archive doesn't understand what a zip is effectively and gives no preview. You need to upload it as a .cbz file to allow a preview.

True, but if you click 'view contents' it lists each individual image and you can open them from there.

Their search engine is also a mess.
Archive.org is notoriously terrible because they store a ridiculous amount of data on 30 year old technology and if they change now they risk breaking everything. Prioritizing form over function and all that.
