I just cant get into space invaders. It's probably because I'm too young to appreciate it and I grew up cutting my teeth on galaga, but the basic loop of Space Invaders gets old to me within a couple of stages

I'm also not very good at it, so maybe I'd like it more if I got good

I hear this all the time, people say space invaders is too boring and basic yet they lose before reaching the 4th stage. If it was really that basic it wouldn't be as hard as it is to you.

To be fair I havent gotten very good at it because I cant stay motivated to put much time in since it doesnt hold my interest. In comparison theres pacman which is also very simple but it immediately feels deep and the basic mechanics are fun on their own even when you havent mastered them

I'm not saying space invaders is bad, I just havent personally been able to get into it
