Sup dudes. I’m curious, if one wanted to play GB, GBC, and GBA games, would retroarch and virtual console emulation on a Wii U be a good way to go, or would it be better to play on an HDMI capable GameCube with Gameboy Player with GBI? What would produce better image quality or less controller latency? How accurate is the retroarch emulation on Wii U vs using real cartridges or a flash cart on a gameboy player? Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Gba emulation on wii is not perfect, use gb player or pc emulation.

go bigley or go homely

Why do you need zero latency on GBA? Rhythm Heaven is the only game that needs it and it plays well on Wii U (all perfected it on retroarch).

iirc there's some weirdness going on with gbp and gbi using one of these hdmi-adapters due to the non-standard output of the gbp.

what the fuck were they thinking??

Latency for most GBA games is not as crucial as for NES/Famicom, so you can get away with loads of weird settings.

Would probably still say GC with GBP just if you look for the least input lag possible, because it's wired and on original hardware

emulating on wii and wii u is fine, although wii is better because of hardware composite.
