Thoughts on the series? Is there a way to play the games in english?

They're ok, but it's very by the numbers.
>harem shit but really well done
>strategy battles are very simplistic with no height variation, no items, no equipment, no level ups, no character lasses
>you can increase or decrease stats by interacting with the girls in the vn segments
>lighthearted point 'n click pixel hunting puzzles
>you can stroll around the hanagumi theater to trigger random events with the girls

Basically Ogami has a defend skill that can completely nullify damage to one of the girls, think of like the Knight ability from Final Fantasy.
If a girl dies in battle she'll be pissed at you back at the theater.

Also the whole schtick of carrying a save file from the first game to the fourth only carries your stats unlock some extra scenes. It's neat but not necessary

There's progress on a translation for the first one right now. It's going a bit slow since the dude is also translating Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Portable and Fate/CCC
