I don't get this game. Am I just supposed to go around using everything on everything until I find something I might be looking for? Like, how is someone supposed to know that they need to hit a wall to get a hammer so they can hammer some wall on the other side of the game world? Fuck you, Goonies 2.

Use the Nintendo Players' Guide or GameFAQs. Goonies 2 is pure BULLSHIT if you're looking for game that's fun to play to completion. A waste of a rental in the old days. Not that it's not a good game, just more difficult and in the words of TVtropes, Guide-dang-it than it needs to be.

this book used to come packaged with the NES for a couple years in the 80's. it has full maps for Goonies 2, it was the only way I could ever beat it. I rec. using them.
