If people buy it they buy it, sure, but if something sits unsold at a certain price for months and months, a more business-minded seller would probably accept that it isn't worth their ask and lower a bit just to move inventory. I don't think a lot of game sellers these days really have a business mind and are just expect (and in some cases have grown used to) bandwagonners paying out the ass for everything, or other resellers trying to catch them slipping so they can profit, so they just get more and more insistent on their price and take personal offense when someone offers less. Didn't take me a lot of imagination. Hell, I helped move and get rid of my brother's old fat hunk of junk TV as a teen, and I got his not as old, but still pretty nice 720p flat screen TV that he also had no space for.
