I played through the original metal gear solid on rf in a ps3 back in 2003 on a ps2 in my moms basement. Back then we only had a really old tv. Honestly even as a kid I used composite cables on everything, snes, n64. I don’t remember ever actually using rf. Must be more of a poorfag/3rd worldwide thing if you truly only had rf available at the time.

Saving up money makes you sound like a poor fag. When the hd transition was happening me and the family just thought it was bullshit there wasnt that big a difference. We were still of that old mind that you dont replace something until its broken like an appliance. When the transition from vhs to dvd was happening the vhs section would slowly get smaller and smaller until one day we went in and vhs was completely gone. we were pissed that they were forcing us to move on. This attitude continued when i was forced to buy my hdtv when the eighth gen consoles announced they wouldnt support analog signals. This attitude that i inherited while i now see the negatives i still probably wont transition to 4k or 8k, in fact with the amount of money ive put in to getting cables and high quality upscalers for my retro consoles ill probably stay with this 1080p 32 inch samsung for the next 15 years. Unless of course it breaks.

Not really. Honestly Master System has pretty good rf. I was surprised myself. I have composite and rgb cables for it but I bought this cib for $60 locally and just decided to throw it on a tv to see how it looked. Obviously not on the same level as rgb but it’s totally serviceable.
