This one is also allowed, as it was a remake of the very first Medarot game.
But I guess everyone hated the artstyle.

It grew on me as I played it.

I played every single one before the DS games.
Played 1 (Perfect Edition on Wonder Swan), 2, 4, 5, 'an RPG adventure' ("2 Core", 2 GBA Remake) and Shigata to the end.
Currently I'm playing the R translation.
R is a bit plain, and not as comfy as the GB games, but the Medarot selection is massive, with every single Medarot from the first 2 games plus many original ones.

Quite nice and comfy games. Actually, the GB/GBC/GBA are some of the comfiest games I ever played and are peak GB aesthetic.

Post your favourite Medarot. Mine are Bayonet and Crimson King.
Bayonet looks sleek as hell and I like how Crimson King can be goofy and badass at the same time.

I never played the games, but my younger cousin had a ton of these toys when he was a kid. They were little plastic toys with detachable limbs, and you could mix and match your own with the pieces. How did the games play? It always looked like pokemon to me.

Such a great series. Games, show, and those little buildable figures. Underappreciated. My favourite design was RedMatador but there are so many cool ones.
