Playing this for the first time ever (SNES emulator on Android Phone). It's fantastic, it's like it didn't age at all, the story telling is amazing. I was expecting Dragon Quest level of gameplay and story telling (didn't age well at all in my opinion) and I am being blown away. What should I play next?

Chrono Cross, of course, it's really what Chrono Trigger was meant to be.

Mega Man X3. Wait for the Gold Armor, and try for Zero's Sabre. Shills will be BTFO, as you will then see.

Lufia 2 for the gameplay, Terranigma for some feels, Chrono Cross for the soundtrack, SMRPG for it all

Radical Dreamers, then Chrono Cross. They're both basically alternate sequels to Chrono Trigger. Each game has pretty different gameplay though. If you want something closer to Chrono Trigger's gameplay, there's the more recent I Am Setsuna, but apparently that's a pale imitation.
