Surprisingly fun (and not fun) ways to play your favorite retro games

Megaman X is a far superior game if you never use dash. The game was designed around being beatable without dash, and you appreciate the level design way more without using it.

Fallout 2 has tons of great dialogue at 1 INT, but it's actually not that fun. Most people just call you a retard and you get barely any quests. It can be frustrating and boring.

I am still on the quest of finishing Doom I and II because Im lazy as shit, and I find that I prefer a more realistic tactics, using coover and all that, than the superduper high speed diagonal jumping and dodging everyone does.
But I know it is because Im a millenial who grew playing modedrn fps

Also I can't enjoy being a total dick in RPGs like everyone seems tto agree is the most fun part. Maybe I'm too much of a beta but my fantasy is to be a fucking paladin for everyone.

This Let's Player does a great reading of the dialogue in his 1 INT run of Fallout 2. Never thought I'd say I liked a Let's Player or hearing them speak a game's dialogue, but here we are.
