But unless you're willing to kill about 90% of humanity off, it's better you just try and adapt to it. That is what humans(the smart ones) are good at after all.

Personally, and I say this with 100% honesty. I'm willing to sacrifice people who can't swim to the sea and Ikamusume's kingdom of wrath than I am toward giving up things like vidya game instruction books.

I wonder, do Japanese copies of games still come with manuals? They're really picky over there about packaging and product quality.

Yes you can. As I understand, right now the ideal is to keep the increase in temperature below 1.5ºC in the next 100 years or so. We'll have to adapt regardless, sure, but by acting now we can make it less painful. You don't have to kill anyone to make it work, and you don't have to do away with your instruction books either.

I do too. That's probably the biggest reason I buy retro games, the manuals and the boxes. If all games ever sold were just cart/disc only then I would just burn discs and use flashcarts.

This is also why packaging in general has taken a nosedive over the last decade.
