This should have never left Tech demo stages. it's a Gameboy in red you strap to your eyes with very rudimentary 3D effect. It's not portable like the GB at all and there were proper 3D systems out at the time. Why buy this when I could have a Saturn or PS?

>> No.5915396

No. There's also Mario Tennis, Mario Clash, Teleroboxer, Red Alarm, and Galactic Pinball.

Any has Nester’s Funky Bowling? Man, I was such a Howard & Nester fan when I was a kid, and while it was... cool, I guess? to learn that he had a sister named Hester, I was so disappointed that Howard Philips wasn’t in the game. I know he had been gone from Nintendo for a few years at that point, but still, I wonder if they at least consulted him.

Wario Land is the only GREAT game on the system.
Teleroboxer is the most unique game and pretty good, basically first person Punch-Out with robots.
The rest of the stuff is all good, only actual bad game in the whole tiny library is Waterworld.

A guy I know claimed in 2003 he found a Virtua Boy in a walmart unsold. He says it was high up on the shelf, and not prominently displayed.

That means it sat from 1995 to 2003, 8 long years, on the shelf. Likely behind stuff.

Could be.
One day I was accompanying my gf to buy some gifs to her niece and we were at the toy store, it's been ages since I went to one last time, and of course I didn't know any of the toys there, it was all modern stuff. However, I did find out a really old, dusted toy from the 80s. It was somehow there between all that new stuff, for no apparent reason.

I won't. The overwhelming majority of my games were stolen by "friends". The only ones I still have, really, are those no one really bothered to steal because they didn't look appealing. They started swiping them when I would throw a party or after I went off to college and they'd "visit" my parents.

They didn't get the best PSX game, though. Idiots.

You liar. An image search turned up zero Dragon Hopper carts, and I can't find a single shred of evidence that any cartridge or ROM of the game has surfaced.

It's a pretty cool system, I have one, but the prices a properly functioning unit goes for these days are ridiculous. With regards to games, there are flashcarts, but good luck finding one for a cheap price. Personally I'd rather invest that money into a modern VR headset and just emulate VB games.

I saw a copy of Uniracers on a shelf at Zellers (that's right, Zellers) circa 2005. It was one of those similar situations, just sitting unassumingly on the end of a shelf of shit, by itself, the last SNES game in the store. It's no wonder Zellers went out of business.
