I'm talking about stuff like old Tomb Raider games. It doesn't have to be retro but /v/ is too fast and threads die too soon.

Im the only guy who likes Sonic and Knuckles 3 level "Sandopolis".
To me its perfection because im a huge fan of such particular levels so i like your thread OP.

The other awesome egyptian level is in Portrait Of Ruin on NDS

How about 3D-era Indiana Jones games? Infernal Machine has Egypt levels and Emperors Tomb is similar to old TR games.

For FPS, Immortal redneck launched in 2017 and has a familiar sprite fps feel, but with 3d. Doom meets Serious Sam meets Rogue Legacy.

It is a rogue-lite where the idea is to keep retrying until you figure it out, lots of random shit to it. However the feel of the enemies and weapons is really good. Probably one of a few indie games of the last 5 years I would recommend.

Only Egiptian?

If not, you could try with games like the Tomb Rider Eidos trilogy and/or the new reboot trilogy (2013-2018).

Uncharted series, ICO & Shadow of the Collosus.

Legacy of Kain series.

The second mission on Metal Slug 2/X

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy it's a fun Zelda-a-like game too.

Preferably. I know there's a lot of jungle/ruins settings in games but I'm mostly focused on egyptian stuff. It's kind of rare and not as common as you may think.

Still thanks for all suggestions in this thread.
