No. Cv3 Alucard is as generic a vampire as it gets. Kojima's artstyle is a far cry from anime. I'd watch a cartoon that looked like this any day.

Maybe in design, but definitely not in gameplay. His fireballs are pitifully weak and will vanish from existence depending on your rate of fire and what's on the screen. He's thus completely unreliable for attacking or knocking projectiles out of the air.

CV3 Alucard's sprite is basically Bela Lugosi. That's not a bad thing, but Lugosi never looked too young as Dracula, and it wouldn't have worked as his design for SOTN.
