You don't need to grind 16 hours, just don't play the game like a retard and actually switch up your classes and choose good abilities for Ramza. It's easy to have Ninja unlocked by this point in the game and even if you don't I'm pretty sure a Monk with the right support abilities can take him out right away also. Ramza is level 26 in that gif which is not very high at all.

at the moment he filtered me. I found a way to cheese him and beat him online, but then he wrecked my party the fight afterwords. The Riovanes sequence is generally considered to be the hardest in the game. The Velious segment is definitely hard. No tricks really other than to deal as much damage to him as fast as possible and stay alive. Low Faith can help with surviving Cyclops. If you keep your party spread out he is less likely to cast it. I forget what he does instead but I think it's probably one of the instant-cast disabling moves the lucavi all have.

Weigraf is the first of the three and also the most limited. The rooftop fight might be a borderline bullshit scenario but by the time you get there you at least have some options as far how you build your team and approach the fight, and all you need to do is deal enough damage to trigger a retreat. With Weigraf it's literally just Ramza 1v1, so if you have done something like, say, roleplay your characters instead of learning a variety of abilities for making good builds, you can wind up stuck hard.

The way it works out is that Rafa is typically the weakest so the AI prioritizes going for her, and the battle ends if she dies. And her AI has her try to solo the entire squad.

You can cheat the AI by having someone with lower HP than Rafa and the Ai will target that. And then make sure to get in front of and block them from getting to Rafa.

Really not, just equip Green Baret and a movement ability and focus if you really had trouble. All enemies can be slept or Don’t Act. Rafa sure is s dork but I found the Yardow Fort City more frustrating to protect Rafa with the Ninja Throw and Summoner bombing.

Izlude is a great underrated fight with a very memorable map. The game is lacking in true displays of the Lancer but if you don’t have the ability to withstand his bombardment or good move or jump it can be a real hassle.

One thing I never see people remark on is that 1v1ing in an SRPG (and even regular RPGs most of the time) is just stupid to begin with. It’s one thing if you’re playing an action game but these games are built around interactions between several different pawns at a time. Having 2 people slug it out in a tiny space just feels off. Even if Wiegraf and Ramza are evenly matched, it still just plays out like a brawl, there’s no like “oo, let me get behind this thing here, and oh, he just did something other than rush me with a sword skill, how unexpected.”
