Lucky & Wild fans should also check out the (non-retro) Starsky & Hutch video game. The PS2 and Xbox versions support light guns and racing wheels, though you can also use normal controllers. The gameplay is like a mix between Driver and Lucky & Wild. You've also got to manage your viewer ratings score. Things like stunts and damaging the bad guy's car increase it, while things like crashing and running into pedestrians (who always get away just in time, like Crazy Taxi) decrease it.
I feel like they really missed out by not porting it to the Wii. The Wii's controller would be perfect for it: sideways as a steering wheel, pointing as a gun, or pointing + a nunchuck for driving and shooting in single player. I think having this experience without any extra peripherals would've been a big draw.
