The guy filming clearly does have a good camera. And besides, every camera has shutter speeds of 1/30 or 1/60 that isn't a Fisher-Price piece of shit. If he was moving the camera and having objects in front of the screen I could see why he might choose not to change the shutter speed but since that's not the case then it's inexcusable that he woud choose to composite an image instead of just film it.

You know, I always thought that selling retail PC games would be a good way to have a steady source of revenue that can be sustained for far longer than console games. For example, Win 95/98 machines can play RE2, and so can Win XP machines, so perhaps you could continue to order older games and continue to sell them, albeit as budget releases as they are very old by now. Maybe even include them with a computer purchase, especially one that can play your given game without issues by default. Maybe even have some floor models installed with some games so that people could see Quake 3 Arena running and give them an idea of how capable of gaming it would be. But I'm guessing publishers wouldn't be happy to continually produce PC game disks until the end of time, especially since most had a taste of the console style "sell a game for one year, and enjoy the huge, fast profits" model.

I'd like to experience that again. On a previous thread someone showed an Asus motherboard for the P3 1.4ghz with an ISA slot. That may be an even better option as I have an AWE32, but I forgot what was the mobo. The ISA slot should be great for the DOS portion of 98, which I sadly skipped over to 2000 instead at the time (and I was really poor, so AMD was my choice, it still is as I am still poor). Anyone know that PIII mobo with the ISA slot?

XP fucking sucked, dude. Shit wouldn't work, you had to download patches over fucking dial-up, discs were an absolute hassle, especially if they got scratched up.
