Can we add a clarification to the rules sticky that PS2/Xbox/Gamecube will NEVER become retro consoles?

Unless there's some time-space anomaly, I don't think that's necessary. None of these consoles were released before the year 2000, so saying they will never be released before the year 2000 is obvious and redundant.

DC was released in 1998 in Japan, 1999 in the west.
No need to clarify anything: this board is for pre-2000 video games.
If anything, I'd remove that line about "DC will now be considered retro" since it's also redundant.

Yeah there's still new games being made for Famicom or even Atari 2600.
We also know about FIFA 2005 on Playstation.
Of course there's a lot of grey areas, but the important thing is that Dreamcast, the system, was released before the year 2000.
