Not sure if the top but I really enjoyed: Suikoden,Wild Arms,Vandal Hearts,Grandia and Final Fantasy VII.

I like this game even if it's unfinished as fuck.Sadly I couldn't get into the sequel as much as I tried to,I dropped it like 30 hours in or something.
