Diablo2wiki is full of misinformation. They actually think Bash gives bonus damage even though it never has in the history of Diablo 2. Their descriptions of blade fury/sentinel/shield are completely worthless and fail to describe many of the weird quirks of those skills, like how using a two handed weapon reduces all your damage by half. They even think that bow skills give attack rating just because they say they do. Change the link to Amazon Basin, it has the most up to date and useful information.

I've been debating making infinity for my kicksin lately (merc). Here's what she has:

Andy helm
Mara
Fortitude
Stormlash (rift when I want to change it up)
Stormshield
String of Ears
Upped Gore Riders
2 martial 20 IAS gloves
Raven frost
Dual leech ring

Also an inventory full of lightning/fire damage small charms.

Currently my merc has Treachery + Gface + Reapers toll. I was thinking that infinity would boost all of my elemental damage + death sentry corpse explosion and give a better benefit than decrepify with reapers toll. The question is, how much better would it be?

It's great, the revives spawn around and in front of you every few meters, it's suddenly a delight to maneuver them. They don't disappear except when their health is depleted, and when you tune up their duration.
The auto gold pickup is really refreshing. As is the smooth mouse cursor. Really a lot of fun.

So I actually just went ahead and made an infinity for my merc, and holy shit the clear speed is way faster. I dragon talon in (smoke screen if I have to), conviction aura will proc, and as I'm kicking stormlash will proc and drop all monsters in the area to about 50% with just one proc, then corpse explosion from my sentries will kill everything else. What's good is that Stormlash Static, sentry CE, and conviction have around the same range so the synergy works well there. Also with all of the elemental small charms + stormlash, physical immunes are nothing (infact, they die faster now).

Man I love my kicksin even more now. If only conviction lowered poison resistance too, so venom would be stronger.

Alright, decided to check it out. I can already tell the modders are absolute shit. By far the biggest red flag of a mod is "we have all these cool features planned, just wait for the next version" and they are even worse than that, because they are planning a zillion features and yet are already swarmed with bugs. I could list at least countless mods that have said they have all these amazing features planned then never updated again. And that this mod has been in production since 2016 is laughable, they've had 3 years now and absolutely nothing to show for it.

That's it. The skills aren't even any different. They also doubled up each skill tree with extra icons, but you can't select them or do anything with them. Right now it is basically the same as vanilla 1.10f, except they ported over some of the 1.13 skill changes. It does seem ambitious and that they have already done a lot of the artwork is promising, but I don't get how they still haven't put in a single relevant gameplay change.

Why does weaken even exist? It only reduces enemy damage by a paltry 33%. Decrepify does that, but even better at 50%, and it also slows, and it also increases the damage taken. Weaken is like a sick joke.

There are a few pally auras that don't need to exist and the spec having three cold armors is boring but those are already great characters so o get it. Le Royaume des Ombres is the closest I can think of for lots of new areas. Mods usually don't really change up the areas that much. If you are fine with a few new areas, then Median XL, Eastern Sun or D2scrabble.

both poison and bone are very viable, you'll probably have more fun with bone though. necro can basically do anything you want if you also use corpse explosion, the result's the same no matter how you generate the first corpse.

after that, put one point into bone armor then max bone prison.
sprinkle some Decrepify and Corpse Explosion on top for good measure.

You can also do a Poison Dagger build. You'll do ridiculous damage and once something dies just Corpse Explosion everything else off the screen, then you can put points into Poison Nova later. Poison Nova is great for a Pit farming Necro. Put a few points into Lower Resist.

No it won't be. No one uses weaken because it is completely worthless. There is no realistic case where you would actually want to cast it over any other curse. Decrepify doesn't just give more -enhanced damage%, which is almost useless, what actually matters is the massive slow and -damage reduction%. If there are a ton of enemies wrecking your shit, you use dim vision. If it is just one or two, you use decrepify. If you want to purposely gimp yourself, you use weaken. Maybe if weaken actually reduced elemental damage it would have some justification, but it doesn't.

into dark woods NM on my single pass full clear sin run. first unique was a gull on normal in the pit or the hole or one of those places, now in NM i picked these up. rares and sets are kinda starting to come down more often, i've been cruising with about 130 MF since act 2 normal and now i'm up to about 160
