Yuko from Valis kicked some serious ass.

The Valis games are pretty damn cool action plaformers. PC Engine CD version of the first game is the best, but the Genesis/Megadrive version is a close second (also the only localized). Syd of Valis (Valis II with chibi characters) and Valis III also came out on the Genesis/Megadrive.

Fun fact, Phantasy Star was actually created, written and designed by a woman. Alis is certainly one of the strongest and most feminist friendly early video game heroines. She was the main character in an RPG and had a similar role to any male protagonist, as opposed to many heroines who just starred in arcade games with minimal story, or as something pretty to look at.

Strange...the one I've found stops before the Reiko fight(unless that was all they did, so it's 'finished'). And light guro by /d/ standards, you might mean...I know the rest of 4chan might not care for it(though to be fair, it's only about 5 pages total).

Not a choice, so nuts to you.

IIRC, basically Yuko had to ascend to being a goddess because she asked for the full power of her sword to be unleashed by that old dude. That was the condition, and why he said that she and the sword had to return in the Genesis port.

all you need is the latest version of ssf, a virtual cd drive, and a img or bin file of a saturn game. and you can play. I think the emulator can play games without bio files too, but if not download saturn bio files too.
