I enjoy the pacing, it's a very dark game but it's not gritty, the combat keeps a good pace, the music is atmospheric, and the characters built slowly instead of immediately introducing prominent traits as games like these tend to do.

Ketsui is clean, slick and polished.
DOJ feels sluggish to me, and very cluttered visually.
DDP > DOJ
