Me, I've been playing Sub-Terrania. Hard as balls game where you're flying around in a cave with Asteroids controls and gravity. Rescue miners, collect sub parts and destroy giant faces. When you hit the 7th stage, your ship is upgraded to be able to enter water and you are FUCKED because gravity suddenly pulls on you a lot harder. You WILL run out of fuel just struggling to stay level and you WILL explode into a pathetic heap of debris.

Then you get to the end and this asshole appears. He spamps you with so much shit. Toxins, rocks, a buzzsaw on a chain and his spike-covered tail, which I shot off, because body parts are destructible in this.

But he's not hard. All you have to do is sit in the bottom corner and shoot. Nothing to worry about.

So you take out one form of this monster and he wastes no time in transforming into some ugly sea slug intent on ramming your ass. He summons up a swarm of tiny sea slugs to zerg rush you while he charges straight into you constantly. He doesn't give a fuck that he's headbutting a big metal ball, he wants you dead just that much.

But you persevere because you're a human right down to the marrow of your fucking bones. Keep moving, dodge his charges and pelt him with blaster fire until he explodes.

Then you finally get to leave the cave in victory, seen in an actual full motion Mega Drive cinematic, and you're told "Good job. Now play this game again some day."

And you know what? I fucking will.

Most definitely. I actually think this mechanic is cooler, though. While you can still explode enemies, you can also drill off cuts of land and sink your enemies for more points.

You can die if you cut off the wrong slice.

My goal is 40000 points.
