I wonder how many of them will stop working just as you're beginning to get hooked on them. The last few ps1 games that I've purchased have fucked off about 10 hours in (jarpigs, no less) and it makes me so angry. I think I am done buying retro bros.

My MGS copy used to get stuck on the very final cutscene after beating the game. I tried rinsing the disc which subsequently covered it in fine scratches. I later realized that it was the PS2 being shitty and not the game. Waste of a nice looking disc.

If you order from EBay, they're overpriced. The Japs saw all the fucking foreigners in Akiahabara buying overpriced games and thought, wow these white people are dumb enough to buy anything and now they're buying up the cheap games and selling them for double on EBay.
I just did a quick search for Dragon Quest V CIB, the first result from Japan is $17.77 CAD, that is unbelievably expensive. If you go into any BookOff it's literally only ¥500 which converts to $6 Canadian.
My friend there actually doesn't even like video games very much, but she buys cheap stuff from BookOff and sells them for triple on eBay to dumb westerners.
