I've seen some fags trying to push shin sedai as better than GG3/MNSG or saying that the only good ones are the side-scroller goemons and the action-adventure games are trash.

It's really not that slow or long of a fetch quest though. There's only a fat guy running into a building, a woman near a shop, a dog, a guy in a house surrounded by water, a spooky faceless woman, a farmer in the industrial city, and a kappa, and they give you the item you need for the next NPC in order. If you know what you're doing it should take no longer than half an hour to finish the whole thing.

Yui has a 3 hit combo, she has enormous range and every frame the slash "wave" overlaps the enemy it hits multiple times. She can also 3 hit combo in the air for even more range while moving.
Also in that game whenever you get hit the powerup item bounce off of you like Rings in the Sonic games so basically you are constantly fully powered up.

I love how self-aware Oedo Daikaiten is about how it rehashes shit from the old Goemon games. Like the underlings of the main bad guy are trash cans and the antagonist wants the world to recycle more, and for some reason you fight Goemon 4's main villain on stage 4's and Spring Breeze Dancin' on stage 3's castle.
