I fucking love Columns. Everyone seems to regard it as "just alright", but it's probably my favorite puzzle game. I love the ancient Greece styling and music, and it's cool making diagonal lines and chains.

Can't think of much, just always plan one move ahead and don't panic when things speed up. I try to make as many diagonals as I can at the start, that might be useful.

Money Puzzle Exchanger is a game i always had a soft spot for, and one of the first things i did when i first got an Android phone was get an emulator to play that game on the go because it's a great time waster.

Magical Drop is also fun, apparently there was a recent game but it sucked sadly.

Also, can we talk about puzzle games that aren't just Tetris/Columns/Puyo Puyo and games like them?

Just games where you have stages with puzzles to solve in order to progress, like the excellent Fire N'Ice for the NES, i really love that game.

I also remember Lemmings being fun, but i have to admit i haven't played that game in a really long time.
