Can't be sure. But since the thing only outputs HDMI, it'll be hard to tell.
Can't directly hook it into any CRTs except for a rare few later models IIRC.

You're better off getting a used Wii and homebrew modding it. That way you can also play Sega Genesis/Megadrive, and the Super Nintendo just to name a couple other consoles besides the Famicom/NES.

Well idk if this will interest you or not but if you want a needlessly complicated means of destroying it it has a built in self destruct system meaning a code you can put in to fry the system, the way it works is after putting in the code the code then tricks the nes into thinking it's been left on for 300 years, and in the process of trying to keep track of 300 years worth of memory that doesn't exist, the system will overheat and catch on fire.

I'll tell you what the code is but I want to wait and see if anyone else here is aware of it or not first out of curiosity.
