Jap games sell absolutely dismally on PC, it won't sell any better if it had a simultaneous PC release or worse if it was delayed. He's simple, he just has a lot of hit priority making approaching him unsafe even diagonally and he often goes for a grab, I think he does that if you're facing away from him but I'm not sure. You can exploit his AI by walking to a spot directly above him before he wakes up, waiting until he starts walking behind you and then just walking into him diagonally for a grab, but you can only do this loop until enemies show up. Once they show up it's a matter of attacking him indirectly using enemies as "resources". Use invincibility frames from suplexing other enemies to initiate a combo/suplex on him and throw enemies into him. If you want to attack him directly to get him out of your face, jump attacks are usually pretty safe but they do very little damage and I mostly use them to stop his pissed off dashing attack. There's a really cheesy strategy of standing in the bottom right corner and swinging the pipe I've seen people do but that shit's gay so I never learned it.
