Pic is what I'm using now. It's a piece of shit, the drivers are funky and the RT button broke.

Looking for something solid that more resembles the PS1/2 controller than anything else and I figure /vr/ is the best place for that kind of information

^This.

Or pic.

My mother taught me HOW to swear. Dr. Mario is serious business.

OP, why not buy a PS1/2 adapter?

Dualshock 3 works perfectly.

As do I. Only complaint is that the shell's plastic feels. a little thin. Makes it seem a little fragile.

Not OP, but that sounds like a good idea.

Anyone know a good multi-adapter (nes, snes, gen, ps1/2)?

OP here. How well does it work on PC? Are there any driver issues? That was my largest complaint with my current controller.

>> No.572185

Also any specific brand of adapter you recommend?

>> No.572239

There is a cheap but kinda durable version of the dualshock 3 in deal extreme. It costs about $15 and judging by the reviews it is pretty decent.

This does what I need, and works in Linux and Windows XP/Vista just fine (with a Dual Shock 2). YMMV.

Saturn Gamepad + Saturn to USB = best Gamepad.

PERIOD.

Here's mine, a Logitech Rumblepad 2. Maybe this would be something for you.

I've been using this one for years

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-fk-49-en-70-1b5.html

The only problem I've had is my PS2 controller died. Ordered it from play-asia and got it in a respectable amount of time (but again, that was years ago), and it's fairly inexpensive too.

I got this for £3 or so from ebay and it worked perfect to plug my namco PS1 stick in to the PS3. Haven't used it in the PC because I don't emulate but I can testify that this type at least works

I have this one, and i fucking love it, i have it for 3 years i think and it is still rocking on emulation from Atari to PS2, it also is better for a bunch of new games

>> No.572812

I understand these controllers are for fighting games, but why not just put the other fucking stick on it so you can use it as a regular controller too.

no, that piece of junk is on par with retrolink/gtron knockoff. you want a sls model. or a knockoff stuffed inside a real saturn shell

I broke mine in less than two weeks. And I'm not rough on controllers. These things are very cheaply made and won't last.

I got a F310 yesterday and I love it.
